Eric Hoskins Tours Southwestern Ontario

Liberal leadership candidate Eric Hoskins kicks off his tour of southwestern Ontario today in Hamilton, talking to local Liberals about his vision for the province.

Hoskins, who was born and raised in Simcoe, Norfolk County, will meet with Hamilton Liberals at McMaster University on Wednesday, December 12 from 12pm to 1pm. The discussion will take place on campus at The Phoenix. He then meets with Hamilton Mountain Liberals at Cora’s restaurant at 1400 Upper James Street at 1:30pm.

On the three-day tour, Hoskins will also visit Brantford, St. Thomas, Chatham, Sarnia, Clinton, Stratford, Woodstock, Kitchener and Oakville.

“I’m really excited to meet with our local party members,” said Hoskins. “It is a good opportunity for me to hear more about the issues that are important to southwestern Ontarians. I look forward to sitting down with local members and discussing my ideas for a healthy and prosperous Ontario.”

Hoskins entered the Liberal leadership race on November 13, and released his first policy initiative, Respect for Rural Ontario, on November 30 in Simcoe.

“I’ve met many people across Ontario and they all tell me the same thing: that our party and our government need to re-connect with Ontarians and win back their trust. I’m looking forward to bringing new ideas and fresh leadership to Queen’s Park. I’m ready – let’s get to work!”
